It is also equipped with a state-of-the-art modern kitchen and a deluxe bathroom with Italian marble throughout. The château is surrounded by one of the most spectacular parks in all of France, with tennis courts and a heated swimming pool at your disposal. Situated in the rolling countryside of Seine et Marne district, the Château De La Trousse was built in the mid-17th century by Marquise Sebastien Le Hardy, a personal advisor to the king and grand Prevot of France. King Louise XIV was a frequent guest. This famous château stayed in the Le Hardy family until 1791, when it was bought by Charles Guillaume Baudon de Mony, a Royal counselor of Finance. In 1864, it was substantially renovated and rebuilt, transforming it into an elegant 19th-century century château in the baroque style that was fashionable in Paris at the time. The Baudon family owned the chateau for four generations, until 1998. Then it was converted to smaller residences and now consists of exclusive holiday apartments, owned by an international group of professionals.
